Fix a fundamental flaw of the ballast system in 2019 and newer Moomba boats that prevents the bags from venting air during the filling process, and limits the maximum capacity of the bag.

Our Moomba Vent Upgrade is a custom made solution for adding a dedicated vent/overflow connection to the rear ballast bags on any 2019+ Moomba boat. If you have a Moomba, whether you still have the factory ballast bags, or if you've upgraded to our exclusive ExactFIT bags for your boat, this vent upgrade add-on should be top of your list to get the most capacity and convenience from your boat's ballast system. Fix a major flaw of the factory system in these boats and ensure you get maximum capacity from your ballast system, with or without AutoWake.

Our pre-assembled solution adds a dedicated vent/overflow connection from the top of your ballast bags, which eliminates air becoming trapped in the bag, and limiting the capacity of water you're able to get onboard. All of the factory functionality is retained, with no impact to the overall performance of your ballast system.

We include the required fittings with this kit if you've already upgraded to WakeMAKERS ExactFIT bags. If you're still using your factory bags, you will need to also purchase a single Fly High Bag Fitting x 1" & 1-1/8" Flow Rite Fitting (see recommended accessories) per side.

Sold individually, to upgrade both sides of your boat you will need to purchase a quantity of two.

Quality upgrade

Installed this vent upgrade with the bagbuster upgrade and the divider supports. Everything was high quality parts, fitment was perfect and install is pretty straight forward. Only advice I can add to the install is use a lubricant when inserting the barbs into the hoses. Everything installed and went together nicely. Took about 30 minutes to install both sides. Whole project with all 3 upgrades took under 2 hrs (probably could have been shorter but I am a perfectionist). Great upgrade allows for complete filling and emptying of the bags.

That's sweet, Derek! Glad the vent upgrade along with the bagbuster and divider supports all worked out perfectly for you. Thanks for the great tip about using lubricant for the barb installation. We recommend that as well or apply a bit of heat to the hose before connecting to the barb. Sounds like you got a fantastic setup that's going to make filling and emptying those bags so much easier.
