While the stock system provides a solid starting point, there’s room for improvement—especially for riders looking for more push, a longer pocket, and a more powerful overall surf experience.
This upgrade replaces the factory rear ballast with larger-capacity WakeMAKERS ExactFIT ballast bags, engineered specifically for the Tykon. Each bag maximizes available space while integrating seamlessly into your boat’s existing ballast system, so you maintain full control from the dash with no added complexity.
The result is a substantial increase in total ballast, delivering a noticeably bigger, cleaner, and more consistent wave.
Option Breakdown
Dual ExactFIT 2330lb Bags
This setup is built for riders who want the absolute most performance from their boat. The ExactFIT design includes a secondary arm that extends forward into the under-seat storage area, using otherwise unused space and significantly increasing total ballast.
Each bag adds 855 lbs over factory, for a total system increase of 1,710 lbs.
Storage impact:
- Under-seat storage is no longer usable due to the second arm of the bag extending into this space
- Factory rear locker storage trays are retained and remain usable

Dual ExactFIT 1950lb Bags
This option provides strong performance with a simpler footprint. The ExactFIT bags replace the factory rear ballast with a larger-capacity design that stays contained within the rear lockers.
Each bag adds 475 lbs over factory, for a total increase of 950 lbs.
Storage impact:
- Factory storage tray above the rear compartment must be removed
- Under-seat storage remains fully usable
