Works great and increases resale value
Installed this system on my 2011 mastercraft X-25. I spent a lot of time and money on parts tweaking my system, plumbing in several thousand pounds of ballast- to the point where when test driving new boats I was always unimpressed, so I was reluctant to start over with this system. But- it used to take me 30 minutes of pumping to go back and forth between goofy and regular so I sprang for this system. It works great, brings older boats up to par with new boats. I did still find that at least on my boat, having some steel shot on board helped clean the wake up when going from side to side. I’d keep the steel shot evenly weighted if we were going back and forth, but if it was a boat full of regular I’d throw it all on the left and it would be ever so slightly better. I have since sold the boat, went for a new x-24, and even though my old boat had a lot of hours (for Colorado), @750 engine hours, it sold quickly and for a nice price because of the GSA system being on it. So yeah, it seems expensive but it’s one upgrade that you’ll absolutely get out of and when you ever sell it.
