If you've added additional ballast to your Mastercraft boat only to find that the factory pumps don't run long enough to completely fill the new bags, these 20 minute timer modules are the solution. MasterCraft Timer Module part number is 50043003.
Manufactured by Jabsco, the same company that makes the factory ballast pumps and timers, the 20 minute version is the same OEM part installed in the boat from the factory, but allows the pumps to run for up to 20 minutes (set during configuration), as opposed to the six minute units that came with your boat.
The Jabsco Ballast Timer Module is the best way to stop your Jabsco Ballast Puppy pump impellers from burning up if you have your system draining through the bottom thru-hull where you cannot determine how much water is left in the system. Keep your system functioning properly the entire summer with this simple add on. For more information, see our blog post on the Jabsco Timer Module, includes a detailed explanation of how it works, when why it's used.
Installation does involve some basic wiring, but is as simple as removing the timers that came with the boat and installing these upgraded units in their place. Once installed, everything looks completely factory, because it is.
This is without a doubt the easiest way to fix the issue of pumps shutting off before your auxiliary ballast system is completely full. End the headache of trying to full fill your ballast, and make full use of the additional weight you installed.

Install was very easy and that took about 30 min. Had a small issue with programming but the support staff was very helpful and got me squared away. Love filling and emptying all the bags with the flick of a switch.
