Gone are the days of listing your boat by piling all the ballast and people onto one side of the boat. When using a wakesurf device such as the Wakesurf Edge, you want to neutrally weight your boat so that means fill up all the ballast for bigger waves! In addition, passengers can sit freely throughout the boat as they no longer need to pile up on the rider’s side. The Wakesurf Edge performs the same way as the factory wakesurf systems that are coming standard on newer boats.
The concave water channeling surface is designed to produce a taller and longer surf wave behind your boat. You will instantly notice how much cleaner the face of your wave is once you start using the Wakesurf Edge.
This patent-pending design uses a suction cup attachment that is easy to use and won’t leave any marks on your boat’s gelcoat. The metal handles that are used to carry the Wakesurf Edge and engage the suction cups are much stronger than competitor’s plastic versions, meaning they will hold up much better over time. Constructed of a durable non-corrosive material, this product won’t rust, stain, or deteriorate after heavy use in an aquatic environment. An important note to add… it floats! No need to worry about your investment sinking if it for some reason detaches.

Boats Hulls With Curvature
If your boat’s hull has curvature, the adapter curvature rings change the profile of the suction cups to handle the convex curvature in your hull. See below for a full list of boats it is recommended for.

Although our wake was pretty good with the TAPS and positioning people correctly in the boat; IT IS EXTREMELY BETTER NOW WITH THE EDGE!!!
I was very shocked with the huge difference this made. WELL WORTH THE PURCHASE, and way easier and FASTER than adding ballasts, which had been the idea for a while, but that would have eliminated all my storage!
When they say quick, they mean it; literally, less than 30 seconds to move to the other side.
And, YES, it does float. When placed over the Tige decals, it would slide off the end of the hull, but never came off if installed on the smooth area.

The wakesurf edge fits nicely and when latched on properly stays on well. Absolutely helps shape the wake with a WakeMakers Ballast bag and some passengers it definitely makes the old ski boat surfable

Wakesurf Edge
I have a 2007 Moomba Mobius XLV. My friends who usually surf behind their 2017 Super Air Nautique did not like surfing behind my boat saying my wave was too short and they had to surf too close to the boat. But now with the Wakesurf Edge, my wave is much longer and cleaner and the wave is equal to their much more expensive boat. Very very satisfied.

A surf must have!!
I give this product 2 thumbs up. It performed just as it should have. I have a 2006 Mastercraft X-1 and it made a wave that surfed better than new boats with the new fangled surf gadgetry. Product is well made. Simple suction cup design and product does float for those rare instances when I didn’t get it placed quite right. You don’t have to second guess yourself on whether this product is worth the money. It saved me from having to buy a new boat for surfing. This is a must-have for surfing behind any boat in my opinion.
