Prior to 1999, ski and wakeboard boat propellers were cast from molds, a process that offered little precision and had severe limitations for the size and shape of the blades. The result was inefficient props with small blade surface area and poor balance which caused vibration in the boat drive train. However, all that changed when ACME introduced CNC machining to the inboard propeller industry. By precision machining its waterski and wakeboard boat propellers ACME is now able to hold tolerances and achieve accuracies never before seen in the inboard propeller industry.

Perfect upgrade after destroying my 15x12 prop on a log. Researched and came up with this 15x13 prop. It performs very well on my 2016 Axis T23. Do not notice a slow start to surf or pull someone up and it gave me few MPH on top end. I tried a 15x14.25 years ago and that was terrible for getting the wave going. This is perfect for the boat.

Replaced a 15x10.5 with this 15x13. So much better for basically everything. The 10.5 was causing high rpms, loud engine , poor fuel economy and severely reduced top speeds. I was worried this 2773 couldn’t handle a heavily loaded boat with full ballasts for surfing. But it’s been great. If you’re looking for a high torque prop for your tow boat but still want to wakeboard and ski I highly recommend this prop. Boat in use is a 2014 Malibu 23 lsv.
Its hard to filter through and choose the correct prop for your needs. After significant research I settled on this model. It delivered exactly what I was looking for.
This prop is a great prop for axis owners with the new gearing. Great low end without your RPM's taking a big jump from stock props like the 2249.
