Following up on the tremendous success and feedback of our exclusive UniversalFIT Rear Locker Ballast Bags, we are ecstatic to now offer a new line of UniversalFIT bags designed specifically for the center locker of your boat (although they can be used wherever they fit).
The team of product designers and engineers at WakeMAKERS agreed that a "one-size fits all" approach that other brands are taking isn't good enough. Seeking a better ballast solution than standard sized bags, we developed our series of UniversalFIT ballast bags, designed for specific zones of your boat and offered in incremental sizes to give you better fitment and improved wake performance.
Available in over 15 different sizes, the UniversalFIT Center Locker bags allow you to choose the dimensions that best fit the size of your center locker. The result is a much better fitting bag, allowing you to fill to capacity and maximize added weight for the best possible wake. WakeMAKERS UniversalFIT ballast bags give you a nearly perfect fit without the expense of building a custom bag.
All WakeMAKERS ballast bags come standard with an industry-leading two year warranty. The bags are constructed of a DuraTEK, our proprietary material that is strong, durable, and puncture resistant. Once the material is cut, the bags are RF welded together with 1" seams to ensure a clean look and watertight seal. There are four 1" NPT ports on this ballast bag that feature a tapered thread pattern and bottom o-ring for a leak-free seal. The larger port size allows water to flow quicker for faster fill/drain times.

Not impressed
This bag is definitely a great price in comparison to other brands. For my application it should work perfectly, unfortunately when filling the bag it does not keep its shape. It bunches up and pushes the door on the floor open. Also I was annoyed that there were no plugs or vent caps included. The bag does seem to be made of very durable material, just not great for in the floor.

Ski locker ballast
They didn’t have the bag I ordered in stock. It took them about a month to get it to me. I received it this week threw it in the boat to go test it out open it up and there were no plugs for the bag. Put a huge damper on the weekend.

Great bag, fits well, could bleed air better.
Works great! My only concern was bleeding the air. I used a tsunami pump over the deck attached to one of the holes at the end while bleeding air out the hole next to it; got most of the air out in the initial fill but would have to go back after some riding and fill/bleed to get 99%full. I think a port should be put on top of bag towards the middle to bleed air more effectively.
