this product seems to have sped up the filling operations of the two v drive sacs I have it connected to, but I have not actually timed it old vs new impeller.

This part is a bit softer than the standard black rubber materials that are used on the ballast pump. I ordered one after my center ballast went out and have to order to more as my left and right ballast went out at the same time after 4 seasons of use. The impeller has a pretty good quality build from what it appears to be and was gently greased prior to packaging to ensure sustainability. Not sure how long these will last but hopefully longer than the stock part.

the jabsco greens are the way to go if your factory ballast impellers have gone out, or you are looking to upgrade. my 2006 nastercraft x2 impellers stopped on me and i went with these. i could not be any more pleased with them. they have cut my empty/fill time by at least 50%. the pressure out of the side of the boat when emptying is amazing. the difference to me is like night and day. i highly urge you to go with these and disregard any other impellers. you will thank me if you do!

The black plastic piece in the center of the impeller failed after only a few uses allowing the motor shaft to spin without engaging the impeller. Old black ones were metal. Pretty expensive for a single use item!
NOTE: This is a defect in the impeller, and is covered under warranty if encountered. It effects and extremely small percentage of impellers, but if it does happen contact us and we'll exchange it for free.

I forgot how fast my pump could pump until I replaced the impeller. My bags fill up in half the time. This is a maintenance item and should be replaced regularly like the rest of the yearly maintenance items on your boat. Very simple, remove three screws, pull out the old impeller, put in the new one, and reinstall the three screws. It could not be any easier.

Original Puppy only used to fill had black impeller and buildup, was hard, and popped fuses. Tried yellow and my ballast would drain out by itself quickly as it was very soft. Moved to Green and it's inbetween hardness. I upgraded ballast bags from a 750 to 1100 and the Green started leaking. Sanded down the brass on the puppy and went back to black.
On a fill only puppy system, I recommend Black.
I just added another Johnson Ultra Reverse where I'll drain and fill and Green is the best way to go.

I have having issues with my Mastercraft's Ballast System. It was losing suction and was running really slow so I swapped out the old yellow impellers for the New Green Impellers and what do you know... They did the trick. This is the best upgrade I have done to my boat in a while. It is probably the least expensive option too.

Impeller colors for these pumps seem to change on a yearly basis. The lastest "flavotr" green seems to be the best so far (other colors being black and yellow). I did see a noticable performance imporvement on my KGB tank on my MasterCraft 07 X2. Performance on the back tanks seem to be about the same.
$38 for an impeller is stiff but much better than I've seem at other outlets. Once again Wake Makers leads the way in affordable products to keep us all on the water enjoying our hobbies. I'd love to see them expenad to include other pump maintainance items such as pump shaft seals.
