Description

When it comes to speed and convenience, nothing can match the Rule 405FC. At a rated capacity of 1,100 GPH it has plenty of volume to fill and drain ballast bags quickly, and thanks to the 3/4" threaded inlet connection, and the straight 1" hose barb discharge fittings in the package, installation in automated wakeboard ballast systems couldn't be easier.

Designed to last, the Rule 405FC features a rugged outer casing that is impervious to gas, oil and other chemicals commonly found in the bilge of boats, and thanks to the cartridge motor design, the entire pump can be swapped out in seconds.

This is a raw component pump designed for use in an automated ballast system, it DOES NOT include the necessary fittings, hose and connectors to be able to fill a portable ballast bag. The hose barb adapter elbow on the outlet of the pump is included, as is a straight version of the same fitting for the ultimate in installation flexibility. The wiring connection is 36" long, and consists of a pair of 16AWG stranded wires.

    I updated my ballast system this past winter. Was so easy to install with the inlet thread. Been using this pump to fill my center sac. Fills about 1200lbs in 7-8 minutes. No issues at all. Glad this pump was recommended!

    I installed 8 of these 2 years ago during a self install of my ballast. By and large they're still running like champs. I would have to say about 20% of their suction/ head pressure has gone and a couple of the drain pumps that are usually always full of a little water have a hard time getting primed and staying primed. New motors fix that.

    The cartridge design allows for easy replacement. Screws right into a 3/4" thru hull and includes both the 90 degree and the straight output. Great pump
