Nautique PiggyBack Front Factory Ballast Upgrade (2006-2013)
The WakeMAKERS Nautique Piggyback Front Factory Ballast Upgrade allows you to add the perfect amount of weight to the bow of your Nautique wakeboard boat. Whether it's for surfing or wakeboarding, if you want the best possible wake out of your boat it is crucial to add weight to the bow when adding weight to the stern.
We have found that the majority our customers never have an empty center tank when adding weight to the bow. Given that information why not use the same switch to run both ballast tanks? By piggybacking off of the center tank you will save time and money but will have the same outcome, the best size and shape of your wake.
If you don't want to mess with throwing pumps over the side of the boat our exclusive PiggyBack Open Bow Ballast System is designed to integrate with your center factory ballast tank. Make your life easier by not adding any additional effort to fill and drain the bow ballast bag. Control the new ballast bag using the mid ship ballast switch on your dash.
How It Works
The PiggyBack Open Bow Ballast System is designed to make use of the existing Jabsco Ballast Puppy pump, hoses and switches in your wakeboard boat, to expand the capacity of your factory ballast. This kit includes everything needed for the installation, including a Fly High Pro X Integrated Bow Sac and the necessary Fly High quick connect fittings.
As the name implies, this Ballast System Add-On is connected inline with the overflow of the center or belly factory ballast tank, allowing it to PiggyBack on the factory system. In the factory configuration when the in-floor hard tank is full excess water is dumped overboard through the vent hose. With the PiggyBack system installed, excess water from the hard tank flows into the Fly High ballast bag, allowing it to fill after the factory tank is full. Once the new bag is full (which means the factory tank is full), excess water will flow out of the overflow of the bag, and through the factory thru-hull fittings, allowing the system to function exactly the same as the stock ballast setup, but with the additional capacity of the 650lb. ballast bag.
Draining is exactly the opposite; as the factory drain pump remove water from the tank, gravity forces water out of the Fly High bag and into the hard tank until both ballast bag and tank are empty.
One simple and completely reversible change is required to install the PiggyBack system, and the entire process takes less than 20 minutes.

A must add
210 SAN need more weight in the bow. I like that this sac still allows us to use the storage under the bow cushions. Install was straight forward but a little bit of a challenge to correctly position the arrow sac.
