Make a secure, water-tight, yet quickly removable connection with the Fly High 3/4" Elbow Flo-Rite Quick Release Connector. The elbow quick release connector has a 3/4" hose barb fitting on one side and a 90 degree lockable female end on the other that will connect directly to the Fly High 3/4" Flo-Rite Quick Release Connect. Perfect Fit
Review by John on 3/29/11Quality Price Value These release fittings make it easy to connect and disconnect ballast bags within seconds. The nice thing about all of the Fly High fittings is that they are made to fit other Fly High products. Instead of playing guess and check at a local hardware store, you know they will fit. Although simple, they fit perfectly and do the job. Mine have made it though two seasons already with plenty of wear and tear (I usually take my ballast bags out of the storage lockers regularly so the fittings have been tried several times).

Quick release fittings
Review by Scott on 1/30/11Quality Price Value The fly high quick release fittings are great and definitely a perfect addition when adding ballast bags. I searched all over the internet for different style fittings and nothing comes close to these fittings. They don't leak, they are super easy to connect and disconnect and they are pretty cheap. There is a little locking collar that slides down and keeps it on, when you want to remove it just slide the locking collar up and it slides right off, takes about 1 second. For me it is very important to be able to remove the bags. Removing them really should be done in the off season but I just like to disconnect them and roll them up when not in use so that I have empty storage areas. I will also disconnect the bag when I need to move them to the same side for surfing. For permanent ballast installs these are the fittings that you want to use.

Review by James on 7/12/10Quality Price Value Quick disconnects make it very easy to remove the bags. It is great in the off season when you want to take the bags out completely and drain them completely. Also if just makes removing the bag for whatever reason you may have a lot easier.
