The Attwood Tsunami 1200 gallon per hour ballast pump is a dependable, long lasting aerator style pump intended for use in automated ballast systems, or for building your own portable ballast pump.
The internal cartridge is easily replaceable, and inexpensive, making this pump easy to repair and cheap to own, unlike expensive reversible pumps. The housing is made of rugged glass and mineral filled polymer to withstand the impacts that can result for repeated impacts with other boat's wakes and rough water and is resistant to the oil and fuel typically found in a boat's bilge compartment.
Additionally, the motor on the Attwood Tsunami 1200GPH is completely sealed, making it a safe choice for use around fuel vapors. The compact size of the T1200 wakeboard ballast pump makes it incredibly flexible from an installation standpoint, and no other similarly sized pump can compare to its output.
This is the raw component pump designed for use in an automated ballast system. The hose barb adapter elbow on the outlet of the pump is included, and is also available separately for use on the inlet of the pump to help facilitate installation (see recommended accessories). The wiring connection is 14" long, and consists of a pair of 16AWG stranded wires.
The threaded inlet extending off the bottom of the pump can be cut to length using a standard hand saw to increase installation options.
NOTE: This pump uses a proprietary 1 1/8" thread pattern that is not found in any other industry. Because of that, it can be difficult to make connections to standard plumbing parts if you do not use either Fly High's Pro X Series W747 Fitting or the Attwood Hosebarb adapter elbow (see recommended accessories for both) we offer.

I love the Attwood Tsunami T1200 pumps. I ordered four of these pumps to upgrade the factory pumps on my Supreme wakeboard boat and it decreased my fill times by half. I did reduce the inlet on the pumps to 3/4" hose but it didn't affect the performance. This is a must for any wakeboard boat owner.
