Ronix El Von Videl Schnook Cable Nu Core Wakeboard
Cable's consistently pull around 4 mph slower than would ride behind a boat. This means any wakeboard at the park is going to sink a little more creating drag that can be made up by adding more buoyant materials to the core. With that said if you ride a 142 behind the boat you will want to jump up to the 146.3 in the new 2014 shape.
The advanced all terrain rocker line is flatter for better surface control on the rails. This is most felt when the board is completely pressed out. Cable riders who do air tricks want to maintain the radius without adding onto the angle. A consistent launch around the bend will still provide forward momentum.
If the rider wants to create more control and flex on a cable specific wakeboard they must first mind the pivot point and exploit it. New paulownia environmentally conscious wood cores and a maple stringer running down the length rebound more like a snowboard than like a wakeboard. By wrapping the core in diamond glass with a lighter glass blend in the tip and tail exaggerates the flexboard feel. A cable board without all of the meaningless chirps of a traditional wood “flex” board.
