You will be in awe after riding this board. At first glance it looks like a laid-back cruiser style shape. It does that really well. A pure surfy feel that nicely links together smooth, predictable turns. You can even throw some toes on the nose if you are feeling it. What is most impressive and least expecting is its quick, nimble agility in the water. The Crossover can turn on a dime and spray buckets of water like any modern high-performance surf shape.
The Crossover is packed down to either a 4' 5" or 4' 11" size but riders much bigger thanks to its higher volume profile. This is what helps contribute to its shortboard like maneuverability and longboard style stability.
The new silicone front traction pad gives the board a clean, minimalist look while providing the same grippy feel of traditional wax (without getting it all over your boat's upholstery.
The Koal Technora core construction boasts a traditional EPS foam core that is then wrapped in a woven stringer laminate to create an overall more reactive feel on the water. Best described as a blend between their classic Koal construction and high-end ultra responsive Hex Shell core. Once built, this board is glassed using Ronix's all-new liquid lava high temp surf resin.This new resin allows the board to withstand the hottest days of summer.
