New for 2013 all Tige Wakeboard boats are shipping with the Attwood Tsunami 800 Aerator Pumps to fill and drain ballast. For 2012 Tige's were shipped from the factory with Johnson 1000gph aerator pumps so the move to drop the flow rate to 800gph Attwood pumps seems a little strange. Since the system will remain to be plumbed with 3/4" hose any loss in flow rate will be minimal if any at all. This is a great move which should eliminate priming issues that have plagued some Tige' models as the Attwood Marine pumps have a shorter intake.
Another note worth mentioning is that Tige has made strides in the way they have finished areas like the observer's compartment. When you open up the bow seat backs there is no longer an eye sore of dead space and exposed wiring. By enclosing the front ballast hard tanks from view, yes we did say that correctly, Tige has refined the fit and finish that demand the amount of money they are asking for 2013 boats. Tige has moved away from soft ballast bags in the bow and will now be using hard tanks from here on out. This is convenient for the customer but will make it more difficult to upgrade the bow ballast or even integrate additional ballast. You win some you lose some.
