Nothing, nothing, nothing and then... BAM. Axis dropped the all new A24 into the water August 1st. This wakeboard boat is big. With a new hull shape and surfgate the A24 might just be the boat to have in 2014. I can only imagine how giant the wake will be when loaded down by Dean and Randall. Check out this video. A full WakeMakers review will be available in early fall. Shop Axis Ballast Upgrades

We haven't actually had an A24 as a shop boat, but have spend a decent amount of time behind it. If you need (or want) a boat this larger, at this price point, this is about as good as it gets for both surfing and wakeboarding.
Definitely worth it to try to demo one, but the A24 would not be a mistake if it fits your budget and you like the performance/features that Axis offers.
Let us know if you have any other questions.

Nick's Axis A24 Review

Great review. We are very happy with the A24. I do not think you made a bad move not getting the upgraded stereo option. You can get a lot better components for the money.
One note is that your front ballast is not passively filling. You do not have a sac in the bow area yet. When Axis delivers the boat they tie the fill line, drain line and vent line together so that if you do toggle the switch water will run out the side of the boat. Take a look at the new .
Enjoy that boat and feel free to give us a call with any questions you may have.
Thanks,
Spencer
