Moomba/Supra PiggyBack Front Factory Ballast Upgrade (2013+)
The WakeMAKERS Supra and Moomba Piggyback Front Factory Ballast Upgrade allows you to fill and drain additional ballast in the bow of your Supra SE, Supra SC, Supra SA, Supra 242, Moomba LSV, Moomba Outback V, Moomba Mojo or Moomba Mondo wakeboard boat using the factory ballast system. Whether it's for surfing or wakeboarding, if you want the best possible wake out of your boat it is crucial to add weight to the bow when adding weight to the stern.
Our factory upgrades are designed to make adding additional ballast easy, affordable and effective. By integrating with the center tank you will save time and money versus installing a fully automated ballast system, but will have the same outcome of completely automated ballast that is controlled with the factory switch on the dash. If you don't want to mess with throwing pumps over the side of the boat our exclusive Supra/Moomba PiggyBack Front Ballast Upgrade is a no-brainer.

How It Works
Our exclusive Supra/Moomba Front PiggyBack Factory Ballast System makes it incredibly easy to expand the capacity of the factory center ballast location on 2013 and newer boats. This kit includes everything needed for the installation. As the name implies, this Ballast System Add-On is connected inline with the overflow of the center or belly factory ballast tank, allowing it to PiggyBack on the factory system. With the PiggyBack system installed, excess water from the hard tank flows into the ballast bag, allowing it to fill after the factory tank is full. Once the new bag is full (which means the factory tank is full), excess water will flow out of the overflow of the bag, and through the factory thru-hull fittings, allowing the system to function exactly the same as the stock ballast setup, but with the additional capacity of the 650lb. ballast bag.
One simple and completely reversible change is required to install the PiggyBack system, and the entire process takes less than 20 minutes.Step 1: Locate the factory hard tank vent line that exits the boat near the drivers helm. Step 2: Loosen the hose clamp securing the hose onto the thru-hull fitting and remove the vent line from the barb. Step 3: Place the (33046) black fitting with the red collar into the end of the hose and secure with a hose clamp. Step 5: Connect hose with quick connect to the bottom of the leg on the ballast bag. Slide the red collar down to lock. Step 6: Using the included pre-fabbed hose extension connect the fitting to the top of the leg on the ballast bag. Slide the red collar down to lock. Step 7: Run the hose up to the barb on the thru-hull fitting and once installed secure with a hose clamp. Step 8: Using the menu in your speed control increase the fill/drain time of your center bag to accommodate the larger capacity.
We installed this setup in our 15 Mojo and it fits great! Can fill the bag about 90% full before it pushes up the front seat. You do have to remove the front cup holders otherwise they will get pushed out. Easy installation and great wake! Thumbs up!
750 lb straight line in '14 LSV
Decided to go with the Straight Line 750 Lb for my 2014 LSV. Was concerned that it would be too big for the space but it fit great. Very happy with the bag. I would have liked a longer bag vent hose than was provided in the kit. I also found that I needed to heat up the existing hose end to get the quick connect fitting to slide into it. Other than that, installation was very easy.
Worked as discribed/wanted
I installed this IBS in my 2014 Mojo 2.5. As promised the installation was very easy and can be done in less than 30 min with minimal tools. The bag fit well and all the installation fittings and hose were included and fit properly. Overall a nice improvement to our surf wave and a worth while addition to the factory ballast system.
Fits great, quick easy install
Installed the Straight Line 750 on my '13 MOOMBA MOJO. It was quick, easy, and fits in the bow great. There is even a little room left over in the bow for storage because the legs of the bag do not go all the way back. I was worried the nose of the bow would not be big enough to accommodate the nose of the 750 bag, but surprisingly there is more room in the nose of the MOJO than I thought. This really helps keep the nose of the bow down and improves surf wake.
Awesome product, with great results
This is a great product and a must for wakesurfing behind a lsv. Made a huge difference in wave height and length. Helped to keep the bow down.
Installation was pretty straightforward, I used the website instructions above instead of the ones in the box, which seemed a little lacking. Hardest part of the installation was putting the quick disconnect fitting onto the vent hose. Other than that it was a breeze. I added about 4 and half minutes to my ballast setting to accommodate the new IBS. Probably could go a little more for a greater fill.
This was all new to me and the guys at Wakemakers made it so easy. Took only 20 minutes. Works great. Do have to be a little cautious because it will blow out your cupholders if you overfill.
