Next challenge
After watching many wake foil videos on YouTube. I went down and talked with the guys at Wake Makers. I purchased the new Austin keen wake foil board I could not be happier. Took a few attempts to get up you have to point the board a little bit More like a waterski to get out of the water, once you get going it’s just like a wakeboard but you must keep your front foot heavy to keep the board from lifting. As soon as I felt comfortable I started to lean back and the magic happened as I raised out of the water!! I thought for sure I was going to eat it but with the new technology and the way they designed this thing it is easier than an air chair . I was blown away at how you could stay fixed above the water with just a little balance. They have taken care of the front to back stability it’s your job to work on the turns which is a little bit more technical but totally achievable. If you have any kind of wakeboard background or just good balance you can do this. I am really excited about this summer a wake foil opens up a whole new playground behind my boat !!!!
